CURRENT PROJECTS:
Dr. Polanah's research
focuses on the problematics
of decolonization, on “post-colonial” politics and theory, and
developing a
critique of Globalization as Westernization. His current project
concerns
the critique of the rehabilitative and corrective trajectory
of Africanist liberational theory during and after conventional
colonialism.
Specifically, he is concerned with problematizing the ‘invention’ and
adoption
of an African philosophy, art, religion, science, and history both for
Western
and Continental consumption.
