CURRENT PROJECTS: Dr. Polanah's research focuses on the problematics of decolonization, on “post-colonial” politics and theory, and developing a critique of Globalization as Westernization.  His current project concerns the critique of the rehabilitative and corrective trajectory of Africanist liberational theory during and after conventional colonialism. Specifically, he is concerned with problematizing the ‘invention’ and adoption of an African philosophy, art, religion, science, and history both for Western and Continental consumption.
